About

Hello! I live at 7,000 feet in the mountain biking (and climbing and ultra running) mecca of Flagstaff, Arizona. This blog is about designing a lifestyle around all things bicycle related–from bike racing and bikepacking to bike commuting and bike partying (yes, this is a thing). I hope to someday power my house with a bike.

Costumes + Bikes + Beer = Bike Party

I’m in the process of breaking into the pro ultra endurance mountain bike scene. I love 100-mile races with lots and lots of climbing! This blog is also intended to document that journey.

When I’m not on my bike I teach classes in writing and rhetoric at Northern Arizona University. I also dabble in ultra running, climbing, and canyoneering. I love all human-powered, non-motorized activities.
